...FAQ...
When can I RSVP?
Our RSVP page will be updated when we send out our formal invitations in a few months. Please check back then!
Are my kids invited to your wedding?
Yes! Because we’re getting married at a summer camp, children are very welcome to join us for the welcome dinner and to enjoy camp activities on the wedding day. To allow parents to fully relax and enjoy the ceremony and reception, those events will be adults-only. Babysitting will be provided on-site by the camp’s staff during the ceremony and reception, so kids will be well cared for while the grown-ups celebrate.
Can I bring a plus one?
We are so excited to celebrate with you! Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate extra guests beyond those named on the invitation.
Will your ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony location involves walking along a short dirt trail. Please consider shoes with wider heels so you don’t sink into the ground! Cocktail hour will be outdoors on a patio. Our reception will be indoors in Adirondack Camp’s historic mess hall.
Will there be an after party?
Absolutely! After the reception, the party continues under the stars by the campfire light with DJing by a close friend for dancing into the night. Transportation to and from the hotel/venue will run for a limited time and will stop later in the evening. (We will update with this timing when we have it) For everyone’s safety, we do not recommend driving on the dark, windy roads afterward. If you plan to stay late, you’re welcome to crash in the free open-air cabins on property—just be sure to bring a small go-bag with anything you might need. And of course, there may be a little surprise waiting for those who keep the party going… ✨🔥
Do you have a hotel block for guests?
Yes! Please refer to our lodging page for more information.
Where are you registered?
First of all, thank you for asking! Your presence at our wedding is more than enough. However if you are still inclined, we will let you know as soon as it is online.
What is the weather like on Lake George this time of year?
Expect classic late-summer weather! Warm, sunny days in the 70s (sunglasses encouraged) and cooler evenings along the lake—perfect for a light sweater or jacket.
What dress code should I expect?
The dress code is formal with creative black tie encouraged—meaning have fun with it! We’d love to see guests play with color, texture, and personality. Tuxes are not necessary, but feeling your fanciest self IS. While we’ll be celebrating at a summer camp, we’re hoping for elevated, dress-up looks (please no jeans or sneakers) so we can have joyful, luxurious photos with all of our favorite people. We’ll be sharing a mood board for inspiration—so lean in, get creative, and enjoy the excuse to dress up!
What is the best way to travel to and from the venue?
We will be offering van transportation from the Best Western Plus in Ticonderoga to and from the Adirondack Camp. We will update guests on this schedule closer to our wedding date!
I am worried about the accessibility around camp. What kind of accommodations are offered?
We want everyone to feel comfortable and supported throughout the weekend. The ceremony will take place along a dirt path, while cocktail hour will be on a paved patio and dinner will be held indoors. Camp staff will be available all day and evening with golf carts to assist guests who may need help getting around the property—these can be requested at any time. If you have specific accessibility needs or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out via our contact page so we can help make your experience as smooth as possible.
What kind of activities can you recommend for the area?
During your stay in Ticonderoga we encourage all of our guests to enjoy the activities offered at Adirondack Camp. Play some basketball, tennis or volley ball on the camp courts. Relax and catch some rays beach side, take a jump off the dock into the lake in our lifeguarded swim area, or enjoy full access to the camp’s kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddle boards! When you RSVP we will provide more information on the schedule of activities.
What meals can I expect while I am at camp?
Our venue will provide a welcome dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch, reception and a Sunday sendoff brunch. This way you can enjoy meals while you are lounging lakeside pre-wedding. More information on the timing of meals and signing up to attend will follow with the formal invitation.
